Sheri Jones

Sheri has studied painting and glass work for over 20 years constantly learning from diverse artist and workshops. Her primary method of growth has come from lots of brush mileage. She has many honors in both oil paintings and glasswork and has participated in artshows throughout the State of Texas. Sheri is a plein air artist and loves to participate in organized events in many small towns across the State, hoping to carry it further across the country. Jessie Bankston

Jessie Bankston was born September 1922 in College Station, Texas. Graduated University of Maryland BFA 1944. Worked as an artist in various capacities for many years before retiring to San Antonio where she had a studio. She Passed away Fall 2004. Art is donated by her son, Bill Bankson.


Alaina Enlow

Photography by Alaina Jean Enlow (1984-2003) a young photographer who took these images during the years she was battling Leukemia. Her gift was to show the beauty which surrounds us all every day. Art is donated by Leslie Enlow


Barbara Hackney

Formal training from North Texas University. Signature member of the Southwest Art Association and founding member of Canvas by Canvas Collaborative Artists of Arlington. Work is represented in private and permanent collections around the country.


Roy E. Vance

Roy E. Vance lives in Richardson, Texas and paints for hobby and extra money. Paintings donated were inspired by an afternoon of classical music and a book on Italian Scenery.

Anne Allen

Born 1960, Seattle, WA
Anne Allen grew up in Fort Worth, TX, and has lived and worked in Los Angeles, CA, Portland, OR and New York's Hudson Valley before returning to Texas in 1999. Allen received her M.F.A. in metals from the State University of New York at New Paltz and her B.F.A. in painting and printmaking from the University of Texas at Austin.
Allen is a 2008 and 2007 finalist for the Hunting Art Prize. Solo exhibitions include Openwork, Studio 832, Dallas, TX, March-May 2008; Enduring Pattern, Gallery 414, Fort Worth, Texas, 2005-06 (with Elaine Taylor), Four or Five Large Drawings, the Gallery at Rivendell, New Paltz, NY. Group exhibitions include Methodical Markings, Artspace 111, Fort Worth, TX, May-June, 2008; The Drawing Room, Galveston Arts Center, May-June, 2008; The Office, Fort Worth Community Art Center, 2007; Small, NRH Gallery and Big, NRH Gallery, and Schema: A Drawing Show, Carrillon Gallery, Tarrant County College South.
Allen is currently a Project Manager with the Fort Worth Public Art (FWPA) Program. A curator and arts administrator, Allen served as Director of the Arlington Museum of Art (AMA) from 2001-2007, and as Executive Director of The Old Jail Art Center in Albany, Texas, 2000.
